The app to connect the fans to the athletes, fan competition.
This project was part of a Nike partnership with the Laguna College of Art + Design and the result was a concept app for a Nike digital experience for the 2016 Rio Olympics. The app is designed to take the act of cheering and create a focused connection to not only between the fans and the athletes but to each other. Cheering is an integral part of competition and this allows fans as well at the competitors to see it's results quantified. Look though the presentation book here.

Brick & Vine Branding
Home Depot Gardening Private Label
The objective for this project is to create private label for Home Depot from one of three areas: lighting, paint, or gardening.
I chose to brand the private label for gradening targeted towards young urbanites living in an apartment who wouldn’t have a lot of space to grow their own garden.

For my senior thesis at LCAD, I designed a typeface that would work visually the same in English and Korean. I associate with both cultures and being of Korean heritage, but not able to speak the language, I thought that this project was a great way for me to further connect with my eastern culture.
The video was part of my Senior Capstone presentation and chronicles the process of the typeface being designed as well as used in various applications.

Infrographic project for my Communication Design 1 class at LCAD
Our assignment was to pick a topic personal, global, etc. and research anything and everything about it. Once we collected our data we then had to look over it and figure out what the data is saying and group similar data together. The last step was to create a visual representation of that data that will clearly communicate what the data is saying.
I divided the continent into regions rather than individual countries because I felt the important information would get lost among the other countries data, information, etc. The data was organized in three major data groups: age, wealth, and HIV/AIDS. For each data level , e.g. GDP, I took the data for all of the countries in each region and averaged them out to get a number that would represent the region.
I plan on adding a bit more information to this infographic such as the biggest and smallest data for each region.

Hungry Honu Bar & Lounge Branding
I created the Hungry Honu Bar & Lounge and it is to be based in Honolulu, Hawaii. It would be the go to place for late night quality beer and burgers. The items that I branded are: the menu, coaster, business card, and a drinking glass.
Honu is the Hawaiian word for the endangered green see turtle.

Have a cigar, I mean portfolio
Project for Production PrePress Class
In this project we were assigned to create a unique and thoughtful self promotion portfolio package to give or mail to possible clients or jobs. The final product required packaging, a die cut, and previous work in the portfolio. I decided give my project a cigar theme using a repurposed cigar box, creating the bands for the items in the package, and the over all branding in the similar designs of classic cigar companies. In the self promotion package I included the following: business cards, mini posters of my design of my illustration, and photography work, and an accordion fold portfolio of my work.
